This building combines sustainability, innovation and collaboration in a place designed to bring togetherthree entities of the Eiffage Construction Belux group (Valens, Eiffage Construction Belux, Eiffage Real Estate) and to promote synergies.
Its bold architecture asserts a strong, visible and contemporary identity. The environmental approach is based on heavy renovation with structural conservation, saving a total of 2,322 tonnes CO₂e.
The outside steps were made of cement-free low-carbon concrete (4 tonnes of CO₂e saved), and bio-sourced or reused materials were used (false floors, carpets, doors, wood wool insulation), for an additional saving of 111 tonnes of CO₂e.
The building is integrally smart: real-time monitoring of consumption, automatic lighting controlled by a BOS system, access management, lights adapted to circadian cycles, electric car charging stations. It is powered in part by renewable energies: solar panels, CO₂ heat pump and urban wind turbine.
The project has been awarded BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum stage certification.
